Many schools are familiar with the World Challenge concept for young people to visit distant places and engage in community projects. At Inspired Travel, in response to a school request, we have created an alternative.

Some time ago we were approached by a school who were already involved with the World Challenge programme. As a result of a survey amongst sixth form students, it was found that the students were keen to participate but felt restricted by the cost and duration.

Inspired Travel was approached to design an itinerary that suited their needs; namely an occasion to work with communities in a disadvantaged region, have the company of their teachers and the opportunity for “gap year” experiences – all within a 2 week time frame.
