Schladming lies amidst the beautiful Dachstein Mountain region in the Austrian province of Styria. Host of the 1982 World Skiing Championships and numerous Skiing World Cup events, the town also hosted the World Championships in 2013. Schladming really is a world-class, international resort and coupled with an excellent snow record, your group's holiday in Schaldming will be memorable. It is a lovely town with a traffic free centre and the surrounding mountains are all linked to provide extensive skiing for all abilities.

Even though Schaldming is at a relatively low altitude the majority of the slopes are north facing and the snow record reliable from November to April and with excellent snow-making facilities, the snow is guaranteed on the extensive upper slopes.

We recommend that beginners start at Rohrmoos where the best nursery slopes are located. With the help of the ski school, progress is rapid and there is soon the opportunity to ski further afield. For intermediates the whole area provides numerous runs through the trees with plenty of challenges to test new skills. For advanced skiers there are some steep and challenging runs through the trees and the World Cup runs to satify any adrenalin rush.

Schladming is a prestigious resort that provides an international flavour; combine this with skiing for all abilities and it's sure not to disappoint!
